Just a regular, happy day!

I love these pictures of the girls drinking what will probably prove to be close to the last of the hot chocolates for a while. At least I'm hoping Spring will come sometime soon. They are hot chocolate fiends just like their Daddy. I threw together a layout last night around ten o'clock, I'll probably post that one tomorrow sometime. I want to scrapbook tomorrow, maybe, too, but I'm not sure that will fit in. I will definately scrapbook toward the end of the week, though, if I don't get it done tomorrow. Today was just a regular run-of-the-mill Sunday. Went to church--had to go without Morgan, though. That part's not fun. He had to work today. The kids were OK, not great, during church. I had to teach a lesson on trials. I blubbered much of the time, not sure if the class could even understand a word I said. That is unusual, though, so hopefully they'll forgive me this once. I also didn't get to a lot of what I had planned, but I'm hoping that can be counted as a good thing because I had participation and lots of people willing to comment. Love that. I am wanting to get some fun things started in my ward revolving around getting to know the sisters in the ward and building unity in the Relief Society. I was thinking it would be fun to have a dessert night with a getting-to-know-you purpose, with a couple games. Anyone who happens upon this site and has any ideas for this would be awesome. Things you've done in your ward that have worked well & fun dessert recipes would be great! Well, guess I better get some other things done!

Bye

Wishing For Summer!!

It has not been above about 7 degrees here for about a week. I am pretty tired of it. Your boogers freeze right when you walk outside. I saw this picture of Sadie on the 4th of July and wished for summer. Nothing too exciting happening here, I have been scrapbooking quite a bit and have gotten just about all of Christmas done. I think I only have a few of that left to do. I need to get an album to put them in, though. I cleaned up my scrapbook stuff and re-organized it and that feels good but I want to get it back out and do some more sooo bad. I wish I had a room where I could leave it up and not feel guilty about making the room look terrible. Someday... hahaha On another note: Going to Provo tomorrow to see my brother for lunch with my parents. That will be a fun change for me and the girls. It always proves to be quite a squeeze when we all go out but they're nice to invite us anyway. We'll just be going out and back and then we have a neice turning one tomorrow so her birthday party is in the evening. She is an absolute doll. Later for now!

Sisters' Scrapbook

This is a project I've been working on this week. It was inspired by Ali Edwards (www.aliedwards.typepad.com) wonderful transparent album she did last week. This was a fun project because it makes you think a little differently about what the final book will look like, since you can see through much of the page. It was also fun because I took the time to get out the products I don't use much because of the mess. (And yes, it's still a mess where I scrapbooked.) Well, that's all for now. Bye.

Anniversary

Looky, Looky! What I got for my anniversary! Let's just say I was ... surprised. Okay I cried a little. (Very much Not like me.) 8 years and still going strong. Love, love, love that boy.

We got a babysitter that night and went out for steaks and a movie. It was super fun. It's been a while since we were on a date, it seems like. (It probably hasn't been, I just have a bad memory.) After dinner we went to the movie The Pursuit of Happyness. Loved it. I wanted it to keep going, actually, and that never happens to me. I don't have that long of attention span.

We had a tradition going really well for a while that every anniversary we would stay in a bed and breakfast. But kids come along and money gets tighter and we've missed a few years. This was a really great anniversary, though, wouldn't have changed a thing!
