ADHD

It has come to my attention that I have Painters ADHD. I can't complete one wall at a time, I have to look over to my right and see I missed a spot or to my left and see that would be a good place to go next. Morgan says it's funny to watch but I just...hey, look! A bird!

Couple of Kidisms

This morning in the bathroom Cydnie started yelling, "It's my money and I want it now!"

You think she watches too much TV?
(And if you don't live in Utah, this is the most annoying commercial on television, where they yell that like 12 times in 20 seconds.)

Sadie has learned a new word. Dare I say it? B...o...o...b...s....!? Yikes.

Her dad heard her say this word and sat her and Cydnie down and went over how yes, it's a part of a girl's body but we don't use that word, it's a special part of your body that Heavenly Father gave you to be Mommy.

Cydnie was in the room, and like always, you can never tell if she's listening to anything because she's constantly dancing around and singing to herself. Morgan told Sadie she would get those parts when she gets older too, and she could barely contain her excitement! She yelled, "I will?!!" And then Cydnie's comment: "Yeah, but Mom's are little."

Take That!

So today I wore flipflops. As if to say to winter and that STUPID groundhog, "Oh Yeah?? Here's what I think of your 6 more weeks of winter, suckerrr."

Then I stepped in a big snowbank and cussed.

"overheard"

I had to run into the Care Center yesterday to deliver some papers to a lady who works there. It was a little difficult, as I hadn't returned there since my Grandma passed away. I walked in and the foyer was FULL of elderly people sitting around visiting and trying to socialize. I saw a lot of things that could bring a person down.

I went to the desk and left the papers for the lady and heard someone saying something but it kind of blended in with all the noise around. Then I heard a lady hunkered over in her wheelchair say, "Some people just don't hear anything."

I realized as I walked out she may have been talking to and about me. But it just made me smile to hear that comment in the nursing home....made by a patient, not a visitor.
