hey alison... so, i just realized that i don't think i ever responded to your question about what i do (for my job). it's been a crazy couple of weeks though, so if i have already answered that question, you'll have to forgive me for repeating myself.
so, i'm a producer for an ad agency. my position is something similar to a project manager. i'm involved in the strategic phase of developing the campaigns or projects, and then based on the specifics of the project, i put together a detailed plan -- including budgets and schedules. from that point, my job becomes resource management, and i just keep on top of things, making sure everyone is on schedule and meeting the objectives of the plan. i do a lot of work with the actual clients, but my primary focus is on working with the people are doing the actual work. my job over the years has varied from that, but generally speaking my jobs have usually had some level of resource management and client relations. most of the time, i enjoy it. :)
