St George Getaway
Morgan had to go to St George for a work conference so of course the kids and I tagged along! It was really fun. I got to see a few cousins I haven't seen in years and a cutie-patootie former primary student of mine from my provo ward who's now in COLLEGE! Yikes.
The kids swam their guts out.
They watched movies til their eyes almost fell out.
We all ate wayyy too much.
A good time was had by all.
Couple of highlights of the trip:
Dead silence in the car. Cyd blurts out all proud of herself: "Mom! I know what a jackass is."
Me: "Nice."
Cyd: "It's a donkey."
--Okay too much Pinnochio for that one.
And Sadie has a movie that she loves to sing along with and apparently thinks we can't hear her with her headphones on. She sings like me: can't remember the words so you just hmmjhhshasf and then she blasts like every third word. "sldfkjs STAND UP AGAINST EVIL mskjmmsmjdfkj CHILD OF GOD..." Morgan and I turn down our own music so we can listen to her and laugh. :)

Sounds absolutely perfect! Glad you were able to get away for a bit. We all need to do that from time to time.
So much fun what children say. It was fun getting together with you and your family for dinner while in Ogden area.
You need to videotape Sadie when she's singing--it will be handy blackmail in the teenage years!

I'm going to be laughing at the jackass comment for days! And I really wish I knew what Sadie was waving at to dry her hands. I can only imagine!!
