Birthday Bash

Here are some of the favorites of the girls' birthdays. On Sadie's birthday, we let her pick the place to eat. She chose McDonalds. Yes, we are high-class around here. Anyway, we went there for dinner and the girls played. Then we came home and had rainbow cake (she wanted every color in the world on her cake and that is the way I decided to make it presentable, even though we didn't get all the colors she mentioned.) Then she opened 2 small presents from us and my parents.
On Cydnie's birthday, we talked her into wanting steak for her birthday so we could go to Stockmans' for dinner. Sadie ate more steak than anyone, even though she wouldn't be talked into it three days earlier for her own birthday. It was fun. I was a slacker and had to purchase Cyd a cake at Wal-mart. She didn't mind. Then she opened a couple small presents as well. On Saturday, we had a Hawaiian Luau at Grandma Rosie's yard. Had Hawaiian haystacks and the cake was a beach and ocean w/ teddy grahms floating on life saver innertubes and suntanning on airhead towels. We didn't get a picture of it, though, I forgot. It was pretty cute, though, I thought. The girls opened presents; Cydnie was done when she opened that pinwheel. She thought it was soooo cool. It was a little breezy and she thought it was so neat that it would spin until she touched it to the ground then lift it up again and laugh. It was really cute. The girls loved their bikes, too. Every morning it's the first thing they want to do. The older cousins found a wooly bear caterpiller to show the girls; Cydnie wouldn't hold it but Sadie thought it was awesome. I love the differences in my kids. It makes me laugh every day. Anyway, I kept everything low-key and I think everyone had a great time at the party. A success in my book. Check out those cute strawberry jammies they're wearing. Don't get cuter than that, I think. Wish you all could've been there!!

How frickin cute are those kids? Happy birthday gals. What I wonder most is...does it hurt to have the cutest kids in the area?

Looks great and I'm waiting for my pair of strawberry jammies too!

Good job Al. You know how to throw a partay.

Guess what, Jenn. The T-Rex graduated. He's wearing a grad cap and holding a diploma. I may not be able to keep up with all of his outfits unfortunately, as I am deeply embarressed to be seen photographing him every week.
