My senior Year

Senior year is kinda fun to remember about. Kinda.

*** MY SENIOR YEAR (a.k.a. grade 12) ***

1. who were your best friends?
Crystal. and Hope.

2. what sports did you play?
Yeah, right.

3. what kind of car did you drive?
Okay, let's get specific. The first car I drove was given to me by my big brother. I found out soon why he didn't want it anymore. It was a blue Pontiac Sunfire. To start it, you had to pop the hood, take the lid off the air filter and spray some starter fluid in it. Jump in, start it, put it in neutral, jump out and put the lid back on the air filter. If you jumped the gun and put the lid back on and then started it, it would of course fail to start and you would have to take the screws off the lid again. After that, and i didn't drive that long, I bought a little white Nissan Sentra for 4,000. I loved that car. It was a good car. We called her Maynerd. (I know, it's a boy's name.) Took me many a time to Provo. Speeding all the way. I had it a long time. I only sold it maybe 2 years ago. And that little thing is still driven around in this town. I like to see it still doing well with the new owners.

4. on friday nights what were you doing?
Stake Dances!! And they're still playing the EXACT SAME music they played 10 years ago with the same D.J. I am not kidding. It is like a time warp.

5. were you a party animal?
Nope, but I had a good time.

6. were you considered a flirt?
I guess so. I almost always had a steady boyfriend, though.

7. were you in band, orchestra, or choir?
I was in a show choir: Hi-lites. Good times.

8. were you a nerd?
Ummm... I didn't think so. :)

9. did you get suspended/expelled?
No, but I skipped A LOT of school. Had I been caught I might have, I guess.

10. can you still sing the fight song?
I think so. I need to go to some football games! It's Fall! (It really is, despite my reluctance to admit it.)

11. who was your favorite teacher?
Coach Dickson. He took me and some other kids to NYC for a Senior Trip for a week. It was so stinkin' awesome.

12. where did you sit during lunch?
Usually Crystal and I would somehow get past the cop (do other schools have cops making sure kids don't leave?) and go to Wendys.

13. name the school's full name?
Uintah High School

14. school mascot?
Ute. It's an Indian. Native American. You know.

15. school colors?
Red and white.

16. rival high school?
Union! of course! I think it was partly because they were the closest school and they were also UHS.

17. did you go to prom?
Yes. Long story...
Let's just say I did go and it involved the Hoky Poky with my mom after several fiascos.

18. if you could go back and do it again, would you?
High school again... I think probably not. My life still has stress but it is different stress. I can see past the immediate issue and realize there will be life afterwards. I really don't think I had that when I was 17. Sure, there was a lot of fun stuff, too but I didn't know what I was missing then!

19. what do you remember most about graduation?
Graduation night I hung out with Morgan. awww!

20. where did you go senior skip day?
I didn't have a high enough GPA to participate, if I recall correctly. So I made up for it SEVERAL other days and went to Provo. That is a 2 1/2 hour drive. I would leave and go shopping 2 1/2 hours away. My mom still doesn't know that.

21. favorite memory?
I really liked Senior Ball.

22. were you in any clubs?
I don't think so.

23. where did you go most often for lunch?
Wendys. Chicken nuggets with honey mustard like EVERY DAY.

24. have you gained some weight since then?
I've had 2 kids, so yes!! And it's OK because I've had 2 kids! Not that I want to like pack on the pounds, but you know.

25. who was your senior prom date?
We called ours Senior Ball. It was Joe Johnson.

26. are you planning on going to your 10-year reunion?
Yeah, I think so.

27. who was your home room teacher?
I don't know.

28. who will re-post this after you?
Jenn, do it. :)

29. who was your high school sweetheart?
freshman--George
Junior--Joe/Morgan
Senior--Morgan/Joe

30. do you still talk to people from high school?
Yes, I love it. myspace baby.

31.did you win prom queen or king?
hahhaa far from it.

32. where did you work in high school?
Wal-Mart cashier. I actually loved it because I had several good friends who worked with me. And this hilarious gay customer service manager.

33. what were your grades?
They were pretty good.

34. what was your dress style?
Hmmm... you know I'd have to look at pictures. Mostly jeans and too-sloppy t-shirts, I think. Bangs are my biggest memory about my looks.

35. what year did you graduate?
Do we really want to answer that?? It dates us considerably! 1998.

okay, so here's the challenge... conjure up your best (and worst!) highschool memories and post this survey!
