Wow! Nothing like a good healthy dose of Christmas magic on the first day of December. The night before, we had gone to Idaho, so we got to drive in what I was NOT calling Christmas magic that night all the way home for 6 hours of a harrowing drive. But the next morning, when I woke up and looked out at that beautiful, hushed world I was in heaven. Morgan and I woke up early and headed to the store for boots for the girls. We have some. Somewhere. Story of our LIVES. So we just went and bought new. Plus new snowsuits. (Aren't they CUTE?) We spent well over what we had planned, but dang, was it worth it! The girls--especially Cydnie didn't come in practically all day!! There was so much to do! Jumping on the tramp, getting pulled by Daddy on the sled, Cydnie even rode her bike, crashing into snow banks on purpose. She would take a flying leap and go face-first into the snow and laugh. She would flop over snow banks. Oh, I laughed all day. We had so much fun. It really helped our Christmas Spirit, as Christmas isn't quite the same this year for us. I can't wait til next year!
