Lagoon Times 2.

So we went back to Magoon for our free bounce-back-because-the-power-was-out adventure and here's what we observed.

There are about 3 people who work at Lagoon who are over the age of 12.

The "security guards" are included in that age range and are roughly the width of toothpicks. Every time I saw one walk by I laughed a little. They have a badge that very authoritatively states, "Lagoon Security." You just had to see it.

The 3 people who are over the age of 12 and work at Lagoon creeped me out, actually. It made me wonder why they would want to work there and hope that the people performing assumed background checks were thorough.

There were about 4 billion people there and I kept wondering how much money goes through that place a day.

Greatest observation:
People who work at Lagoon HATE THEIR JOBS.
And they HATE CHILDREN.
And it made me laugh.

I mean, when you think about it, you're a teenager, what would be the coolest place to work?? Lagoon!! Then the reality sets in. All you hear are screaming, sometimes crying children and the click of seatbelts locking and unlocking and that annoying music. You have to get on the intercom and say the same thing every 5 minutes, "Are ya ready kids?? All right, keep your hands and feet inside the ride and have a great day at Lagoon!" It all sounds like a recipe for a breakdown kind of disaster to me.

And I think the most disillusioned people who work at Lagoon have to be the lifeguards. Not only do they have a higher responsibility: ensuring not too many people die, but they were also thinking, "Dude, all ya do is sit around and watch hot girls in bikinis all day and get a tan. Dude! Sign me up!"

And I just don't think they were planning on all those fat people and guys with hairy backs.
