Magoon. It's What Fun Is.
Well, howdy strangers! Hope you haven't all forgotten or given up on me! I still don't have internet so I have to mooch it when I can.
Let me just catch you up a little-I'll keep it short.
3 weekends ago I got to visit my sister in Tooele. That was sooo much fun...well, the visiting my sister part was. The trip overall was terrible. I had to be at a purse booth *trying* to sell purses while the wind protested everything I did and the entertainment was clowns. with chainsaws. Yes, I said clowns with chainsaws. Then I discovered someone else decided they needed my luggage worse than me. I discovered this at like 9:00 at night so then I get to make a trip to Wal-Mart to replace everything. Good times.
Last weekend we went to Magoon. (This is what the girls call it and I don't have the heart to correct them; it's too cute.) We were there all day and had a blast. The girls didn't get scared on any of the rides; they loved them! The power went off for a little while, no big deal, and we get to get in free another day sometime before the end of the month! Score! (Apparently this was breaking news in Utah, that Lagoon's power was off because some people did have to climb down from roller coasters, but we were in the museum in Pioneer town or whatever and didn't have the faintest idea that it was even a big deal. The next day when my mom called to ask about it I had already forgotten that it happened. But that's a big problem that I have.)
In everyday news, my life is blissful in the new home. It's the little things--eating outside, my view of my father-in-law's freshly-cut hay, the cricket serenade at night and just being together as a family. We're catching up on movies *PLEASE LIST ANY GOOD ONES YOU RECOMMEND IN THE COMMENT SECTION* and just enjoying life. The other day I told Sadie not to play with her blinds because every night after they go to bed I hear her blinds go ZIIPP. She said, "But Mom, I like to see the stars when I'm going to sleep. I like to count them." Sweet! Oh, of course you can do that!! :) And then Cydnie came in my bathroom and opened my shower and sniffed it and shut the door and walked away. Cracked me up; I thought I was the only one who loved the smell of my shower. Weird. Last night at dinner out on the deck Cyd said, "I love living here. It's so fun." You said it, kid. it's the little things.
