A Long January.

 

 

 

 

Does the winter seem to be longer and worse because I keep thinking about it? And how wonderful spring sounds? Or is it really just this long and horrible?? Sorry to be a downer, but I was thinking last night in the -4 degrees walking from the car to the house, how the sound of the crunch of snow used to thrill me. You know, when you're thinking about the excitement of Christmas the sound of snow was wonderfully exciting. Now I am thoroughly annoyed. Also, the trip to Lowes we were returning from was decidedly unproductive despite having been there nearly 2 hours. We spent $35.00 instead of around $3,000-$3,500 which is what we wanted to do because it would've meant we had a garage door on the way, and lots of mud and tools to start mudding. As it lies, we have none of that and the snow keeps irritating me to no end. :)
