More January Things of Note...
1. My cool brother-in-law cut his finger OFF in an accident involving his truck and its moving parts at work. (Critical parts of his story include he was more than an hour away from a hospital with a truck that the parts move but IT didn't. It no worky. And after he realized what had happened, exactly, he had to crawl around on his hands and knees to retrieve his appendage.) He has taken it well, as you can see from the picture only hours after it happened, even though the pain is bad at times.
2. My darling nephew got baptized after waiting what he probably felt was TOO LONG after he turned 8! (Due to a move.) He is so cute; I'm proud of him and his decision!
3.Grandma Rosie made new nightgowns for the girls, only to them, they're not nightgowns. They're pricess dresses.

That's terrible about Rafe! Were they able to reattach it?
If not, how's he gonna give people the bird???
Seriously, though, I was sorry to hear about his accident. It has to be incredibly painful. Hopefully he will heal quickly!
No, sadly they were not able to reattach. Even sadder the doctor threw away his finger so he can't show it off. BUMMER.
Oh, and I promptly pointed that out to him (no pun intended) and he said he still had the other one.
Oh my heck! I can't believe he had to crawl around for his finger. I would have been passed out for sure. Just reading about it makes me woosy. Your girls are so cute. I LOVE the curlers!!
Matt cut his finger off just after we got married, due to a table saw incident. Luckly, it was still hanging on by some skin and they reattached it. So gross though! They had to put a pin in it and everything.
Hope he isn't in too much pain!
